Antenatal care
This is provided by the community midwife’s and appointments can be made with them by telephoning 01476 565232.
Cervical smears
These are held by appointments daily.
An automatic reminder is sent to you when your smear is due from Primary Care Support England.

Family planning advice
A full range of advice including coils, emergency contraception and fitting of implant is available by consulting any of our doctors.
Our nurses are also available for contraceptive advice and pill checks, by prior appointment.
Minor surgery
Our doctors and nurses carry these out – you will need a special appointment, please ask one of the doctors first.
Travel advice and immunisations
If possible see our practice nurse at least two months before your departure.
She will advise you on your health matters related to the countries you are visiting and arrange the vaccinations required. Some of these take time to become effective and need a course of treatment.
Anticoagulation services
These are held daily by our health care support worker and our practice nurses, your result and warfarin dosage will be available immediately.
Home visits for this service usually takes place on a Tuesday afternoon.
