We will be changing the way patients access GP and nurse practitioner appointments at the practice from Monday 13th January. You will no longer need to pre-book a GP or nurse practitioner appointment as any medical matters you present with will normally be dealt with on the day, using AskmyGP.
Ask my GP will make requesting help from the surgery easier and more convenient. You will be able to send a request on any medical matter to your GP or nurse practitioner during opening hours using a link from our website www.vinemedical.co.uk and they will then always aim to respond promptly. All you will have to do to be able to consult with your GP or nurse practitioner is follow a few short, easy steps online to register, and then send in the request. There’s never a queue online.
If you do not have access to the internet you can simply call us and our receptionist will need to take some medical details and a clinician will call you back. You may not always need to attend the practice saving valuable time and reducing the number of missed appointments. If your GP or nurse practitioner feels a face to face appointment is required then this will still be offered to you.
Please note all appointments with our nursing team will remain the same and must be booked in advance.
